After initially considering a laboratory and research position in basic science but driven by his desire to pursue a career in medicine, Dr. Patel embarked on a new chapter in his academic journey by attending Ross University School of Medicine. Ross University provided him with an enriching experience, combining medical education with a diverse and multicultural environment. Dr. Patel excelled in his studies, demonstrating not only academic prowess but also a deep empathy for patients and a genuine passion for urology.
Following his successful completion of medical school with honors, Dr. Patel pursued a highly competitive residency program in Urology at the renowned Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. During his residency, he acquired invaluable clinical skills, working alongside esteemed experts in the field. Dr. Patel was recognized for his exceptional surgical aptitude, meticulous attention to detail, and his ability to provide compassionate care to patients.
Driven by his desire to further specialize in the field of Andrology, Dr. Patel pursued a fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). This prestigious fellowship program allowed him to refine his expertise in the treatment of male reproductive and sexual health disorders.
